Even after photographing people for the past 10 years, I still get a great nervous excitement about every new wedding. And not just because I believe it is such a great honour to be entrusted with such an important role, but because I am passionate about portraying each wedding for each of you as you would like it remembered.

Hugely spontaneous and natural
|
Someone asked me once if I really enjoyed all these weddings, surely they must become boring? It couldn’t be further from the truth - every wedding is different, simply because every couple and their friends and families are different! It’s my job to capture the multitude of characters and events throughout the day and provide you with a beautiful record of one of the most important moments throughout your life.
As a result, I do not work from a list of pre-arranged photographs. My style is mainly reportage, a flavour of which you can see throughout this site. Of course, I also ensure that you have the usual selection of formal shots - many people don’t like having their picture taken, and this part of the day is generally over within ten or fifteen minutes. The rest of the time I am working away quietly in the background - after all, this is your day, not mine. As smartly dressed as your wedding party, I’ll mingle unnoticed amongst your guests, ensuring that all the little moments are captured for you throughout your wedding.

Using professional Canon cameras with a selection of lenses, I aim not to use flash and rely upon natural light, with exceptions during the darker months and evenings.
Once the day is over, you will be able to see the proofs within the next weekend wherever you are in the world just by visiting this site. Once approved, guests and family will also be able to see the photographs and order wedding prints directly through me.
