Even after photographing people for the past 10 years, I still get a great nervous excitement about every new wedding. And not just because I believe it is such a great honour to be entrusted with such an important role, but also because I am passionate about portraying each wedding as each couple would like it remembered.   hugely spontaneous and natural I have never shot a wedding without spending some time with the couple, and never without visiting the church/ceremony venue or reception venue before. I like to plan ahead with the bride and groom by getting to know them and finding out all about their plans for the big day. Having met the bride and groom beforehand, the photography is much easier for everyone, hugely spontaneous and natural, and of course extremely happy.   Someone asked me once if I really enjoyed all these weddings, surely they must become boring? That is not further from the truth for me - every wedding is different, simply because every couple and their friends and families are different! It’s my job to capture the multitude of characters and events throughout the day and provide you with a beautiful record of one of the most important moments throughout your life. As a result, I do not work from a list of posed or pre-arranged photographs. My style is mainly reportage, a flavour of which you can see throughout this site. Of course, I also ensure that you have the usual selection of formal shots – many people don’t like having their picture taken, and this part of the day is generally over within ten or fifteen minutes. The rest of the time I am working away quietly in the background – after all, this is your day, not mine. Wearing a suit, I’ll mingle unnoticed amongst your guests, ensuring that all the little moments are captured for you throughout your wedding.   Using professional Canon cameras with a selection of lenses, I aim not to use flash and rely upon natural light, with some exceptions during the darker months. Once the day is over, the newly wed couple will be able to see the proofs of their day the next weekend wherever they are in the world just by visiting this site. There are 100 pages (50 leaves) of archival quality heavy cream paper and each page is interleaved with fine tissue to protect your photos for generations. Prices start at £100 for a 61/2”x83/4” album.               Albums can also be personalised by adding initials, names, dates etc.. for only £30 per line. Blind embossing can be done on one or two lines, up to 20 characters (including spaces) each.
